This Vintage Hofner had a few issues with electron

This Vintage Hofner had a few issues with electronics, a small neck crack and a strange Humbucker install during it’s years. Overall it was in immaculate condition and played beautifully with that true Hofner sound you would expect. It’s owner sourced a Hofner pickup and well as a few other parts. After years of playing this guitar was left stored in its case in Darwin for 10 years without strings. Many hours of work, glue and sweat brought this beautiful 1974 Gibson Dove back to life. New pickguard and perfectly made new bridge made by #mallialutherie . It’s been a very long time since the last post and it’s been a strange year to say the least. Here are some photos of a Goya that a client wanted brought back to life. It was his dad’s guitar and had seen plenty of gigs. A refret, some electrics sorted, new machine heads as well as a few cosmetic touch ups and what a beautiful guitar it is. Plays like a dream and sounds fantastic. Sentimental value can’t be measured.
